Summary of Responsibilities
We are looking for a licensed plumber to work at our various properties located throughout Cincinnati and Lexington. This is a newly created division with opportunity for growth and advancement.
Essential Job Functions
Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in residential structures.
Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals.
Follow building plans and blueprints.
Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies.
Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems.
Prepare bids, budgets, and cost estimates.
Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed and materials used.
May be asked to perform other tasks in support of associates not listed in the essential job functions.
Qualifications and Experience
Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade
Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices
Ability to read and follow blueprints and rough drawings
Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper
Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted
Excellent problem solving skills
Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficiency in basic mathematics and conversion of measurements
Have estimating experience, both commercial and residential
Experience with job sits, inspections, and trouble shooting
High school diploma or GED certificate
Active state plumbing license required
1 or more years experience as a licensed plumber
Valid driver’s license
Must have own tools

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to frequently grasp, pinch, and manipulate objects with his/her fingers. Frequently the employee will be required to stand, walk, turn/twist, bend, reach, kneel, squat, crawl, and climb.
The lifting and carrying requirements of the job require the employee to lift and carry 60-75 pounds un assisted.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly subject to various environments. The temperatures at the properties can vary and the incumbent may be subject to seasonal outdoor temperatures. The noise levels in the work environments vary from low to extreme.
