Patent Specialist/Paralegal

Fountainhead Law Group PC is an expanding patent law firm located in Silicon Valley. We are currently conducting a search for a senior full-time patent support specialist/paralegal to join our team. We are looking for a skilled professional to work closely with the firm’s patent attorneys, staff, and clients to provide case management support and thought leadership for all stages of the patent process.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Providing thought leadership on all aspects of patent prosecution processes, staying abreast of industry best practices, proactively recommending process improvements, and working with the attorneys and existing staff, collaboratively, to implement such best practices.
  • Actively staying up to date on all USPTO procedures, practices, and developments, and communicating and institutionalizing such developments throughout the firm’s processes and procedures.
  • Managing domestic and foreign patent filings, communications, deadlines, and client procedures for firm’s Fortune 500 clients.

Required Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree from 4 year University.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of patent prosecution support experience from a top law firm.
  • Paralegal certificate preferred.
  • Must be a positive, upbeat team player who is able to work with others to achieve goals through positive relationship building and management.
