Job Description:

Applicant will teach the curriculum as outlined by Glasgow School District #1A.

Meet the diverse needs of students in the classroom by providing an appropriate learning environment.

Provide quality instruction by using effective lesson plan development and strategies.
-
Establish effective classroom management, safety procedures, and behavior expectations.
-
Maintain effective professional relationships with students, parents and staff.
-
Participate in school and district professional development activities.
-
Attend building and district meetings as required.
-
Support Special Education students by implementing IEP and 504 Plans.
-
Perform other duties as assigned by the building administration.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Education
-
State of Montana Educator license with appropriate endorsements.

Ability to implement standard based instruction and assessment.

Skill in the use of technology to enhance instruction and communication.

Ability to work as a contributing member of effective teaching teams.

Ability to maintain effective professional relationships with staff, students and parents
