Our Transportation division is a talented team of experts working together to deliver engineering solutions that move people in a smarter way. We provide full-service planning, design and construction management services on everything from roadways and bridges to airports, stormwater infrastructure, and parks/recreation projects primarily for state and local agencies and municipalities.


You studied structural/civil engineering. You have a bachelors in structural/civil engineering and your EIT - a PE and/or SE will set you apart.
You know bridge and roadway structures. You have between two and six years of experience in the transportation market, and you’re knowledgeable of relevant codes and standards and key design elements.
You’re proficient with business and engineering applications. Microsoft Office, Microstation and/or AutoCAD proficiency are a must. Experience with GeoPak and/or Civil 3D is a plus. Knowledge of structural software(s) calculation tools will help set you apart.
You’re a people person with the ability to interface and collaborate effectively with team members. Your strong organization and communication skills will contribute to your success.


You’ll be an integral part of our Structural team. You’ll prepare/review calculations through applying standard practices and techniques. You’ll assist with field surveys and in the preparation of improvement plans, specifications, supporting documents, and permit applications for DOT, Tollway, private and public work projects. You’ll also prepare and review sketches, technical comparisons and similar technical work as needed.
You’ll collaborate with others. You’ll coordinate project assignments with engineers and technicians within the group, you’ll assist with processing submittals, and you’ll start working with vendors with the support of your supervisor.
You’ll learn and grow. You will work on exciting projects and perform assignments designed to develop your professional knowledge and abilities. You’ll use good judgement on the details of your work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives.
