The Manager of Events is responsible for:
Developing, planning, executing event concepts at branded events
Working closely with Marketing, Sales, Training, PR, Online and Creative
Manage operational processes required to execute sales events
You will be a part of a dynamic, creative environment where you will interact with cross-functional partners to ensure that Avon’s standards are continuously elevated

Strategic Vision:
Partner with Sales teams to provide strategies/feedback for all event programs and individual account and market needs
Partner with Online and Social teams to ensure current event content and dates are being featured
Work with Sourcing to find and develop new event management tools that enhance customer experience and bring cost savings and efficiency

Development and Training of Programs:
Manage all aspects of events, including event strategy and objectives, new event ideas, planning, execution and event recaps
Provide feedback for new events by liaising with Field Executives
Track, analyze and recap all event category global sales results

Manage financials/ budgeting to ensure accuracy and timeliness of execution and production
Experience working with hotels, venues, travel partners and creative resources
Experience creating and managing hotel room blocks, F&B plans, space allocation, destination management groups
Ensure all collateral costs updated and reflect budget plan
Work with Sales & Marketing to prepare fiscal planning and budgets
Manage creative production to ensure quality standards and timing is met

Ability to work with a cross-functional team of meeting and event planners
Coach, challenge and support to enhance overall team effectiveness and performance

BA or BS with a minimum of five years’ experience in the (cosmetics/beauty field a plus)
Proficiency to read floor plans, CAD drawings with a demonstrated knowledge of materials and cutting-edge production techniques
Excellent communication and organizational skills with ability to interface with a diverse group
People management experience

Travel Requirements:
Job will require Domestic travel
Travel estimated to be 5-7 business days per quarter
