Overview
We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in food preparation and handling. If you have a passion for culinary arts and enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Use knives and other cutting equipment to portion, cut, trim, and prepare meat products
- Package and label meat products according to company standards
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work area and equipment
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with meat selection and recommendations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to fulfill orders efficiently
Experience
- Proven experience as a Meat Cutter or similar role in a restaurant or food production setting
- Knowledge of different cuts of meat and proper handling techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with culinary terms and practices is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
