About the Role
As a Medical Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in our practice. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Triaging patients and managing patient flow.
- Obtaining and recording detailed medical histories.
- Preparing examinations rooms before patient visits.
- Assisting the physician with patient visits.
- Collecting lab specimens.
- Writing detailed and accurate notes.
- Ensuring a seamless and positive patient experience.
- Collaborating with the team to provide top-notch care.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a medical setting (dermatology experience is a plus, but not required).
- Education: Minimum of a High School Diploma; higher education is preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are a must.
- Attitude: Positive mindset, team-oriented, and drama-free.

Education and Experience

· High School diploma required. Post high school education preferred.
· Two or more years of experience working as a medical assistant preferred.
· Four or more years work experience in a professional setting.
· Demonstrated knowledge of HIPAA compliance and use of EMR tools.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
