This position will be responsible for managing and leading multiple small to mid-size projects ensuring delivery within time frame, scope and budget; managing resources effectively; and ensuring adherence to client and company policy and process.
Manages multiple small to mid-size projects from concept to delivery.
Effectively leads and coordinates all aspects of project: Scope, Schedule, Timeline Development, Budget, Resource Management, Stakeholder contributions, etc.
Creates detailed project plans/schedules with assigned resources and work effort.
Align project resources based on skills and validate work effort for project completion.
Accountable to internal client for project execution, ensuring successful delivery within time frame, scope and budget.
Establishes expectations and maintains relationships with internal clients and all stakeholders.
Gather and understand external client’s business needs and objectives to ensure compliance with client and company processes.
Responsible for applying and managing Phoenix PO Best Practices.
Manages risk and issues. Keeps senior management informed of all risks, issues, out of scope and budget concerns.
Manages and leads a team of project coordinators and associate managers.
4-year college degree and/or PMP and/or equivalent business experience Is required.
Two (2) to five (5) years progressively responsible experience in PM on small to mid-size scale projects preferably in a medical communications environment.
Experience in all aspects of logistics and collateral deliverables as it relates to the medical communications industry.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, Project and the Internet.
Business acumen, negotiating skills, presentation skills, problem solving abilities, results-driven, meeting management and facilitations skills.
Excellent time management, organizational, follow up and communication skills (oral and written).
Must be able to manage multiple deliverables, maximizing efficiency in doing so.
Working knowledge, understanding and the ability to direct others on appropriate adherence to OIG guidelines and PhRMA.
Ability to work independently; complete multiple tasks; and manage a high volume of competing priorities in a fast paced environment.
Able to develop a solutions-based approach to overcome obstacles and deliver on deadlines.
