Job Summary
OFS Fitel, LLC, a leading manufacturer of optical fiber, fiber cable, and connectivity components for our customer’s optical infrastructure, has an immediate position available for an Account Manager in our NAR Sales organization.

The position manages an assigned budget plan that includes developing new opportunities and supporting existing fiber, fiber cable, and connectivity projects to support the West Project Market. Results will include meeting or exceeding budget and growth targets that are aligned with our company vision and values. The successful candidate will work from a home based office;

(CA, AZ, NV, NM and HI) preferred, however other locations will be considered. This position will be primarily responsible for outside sales and promotion of connectivity products, optical cable and optical fiber solutions to the assigned territory in the West Project Market customer base as well as provide coverage to other select accounts as directed.

Job Specifications

The successful candidate will possess the following:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferred; Business or Marketing degree will be considered
The ideal candidate has Five (5) to ten (10) years of optical fiber expertise in telecom and / or mobility industry; applications engineering experience preferred
Understanding of Mobility, FTTH, Data Center, Long Haul and OSP business
Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with experience preparing and confidently delivering clear, concise, and compelling presentations to customers and internal teams
Ability to train clients, as needed, at a variety of technical levels
Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and excel; proficient or demonstrated ability to successfully use sales / forecasting systems such as Salesforce.com
Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative and cohesive team environment (Marketing, R&D, Manufacturing) and adjust to multiple and changing priorities
A track record of demonstrated success with developing partnership with large customer
