Job Description:
Frazer Farms is a family-owned farm located in Central Iowa. We raise swine, corn, soybeans, and install drainage tile. We are looking for a hardworking, driven individual who has a passion for working in agriculture. This individual should have experience caring for and handling swine as well as experience operating machinery.
General duties include:
· Daily care and management of swine
· Understand and follow Frazer Farms Biosecurity Program
· Assist with loading and unloading of pigs
· Monitor and treat pigs as needed by administering vaccines and medicines
· Keep detailed and accurate records
· Power washing facilities and building maintenance
· Carefully operate machinery including but not limited to: Backhoe, Tractors, Semi’s, Forklift, Skid loader
· Assist with Manure application
· Upkeep farm appearance – mowing, spraying, snow removal
Skills:
· Strong interest in working with animals with a desire to learn and self-develop
· Individual must be self-motivated and able to work independently
· Must have a valid driver’s license. CDL Preferred, but not required
· Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
· Ability to frequently bend, climb, squat, and kneel

Pay: HIGHLY COMPETITIVE - varies based on experience
