Minimum Required Qualifications:
The minimum required qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language.
Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
Complies with State and Federal drug laws as regulated by the State Board of Pharmacy, HIPAA, the drug enforcement agency and the food and drug administration.
Must complete all HIPAA and Pharmacy compliance required training modules.
Must exhibit the utmost professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with patients and their health information
Meet all work schedules and comply with all time and attendance policies.
Maintain a clean, neat organized and safe work environment for Pharmacy locations
Maintain Department sanitation and QA standards by cleaning and sanitizing all work surfaces, utensils and equipment for all locations. Keep floor clear of debris and spills.
Dispense medications in an accurate and efficient manner while following company policy and government regulations as well as supervising all staff pharmacists.
Control medications by monitoring drug therapies and advising interventions.
Organize and direct technicians’ work flow, verifying preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals and order entries.
Greet pharmacy patients and provide accurate and up to date information on prescription, over- the- counter and other health issues as requested by pharmacy patrons.
Order product and maintain department inventory.
Maintain records for controlled substances, removing outdated and damaged drugs in all locations.
