The Residential Support Professional is responsible for providing direct assistance to individuals living in a 5-bedroom community-based residential setting. In collaboration with the Residential Support Team Lead, this position creates, monitors and implements individualized treatment plans to help persons served achieve their goals and return to independent living. The Residential Support Professional and persons served work together to address life skills (e.g., meal planning, budgeting, community access) and manage neurobehavioral challenges (e.g., identifying triggers, de-escalation techniques, self-management strategies).
This position primarily works 2pm - 10pm shifts, including every other weekend, a minimum of 16 hours per week.

Is an excellent educator and counselor and passionate about providing encouragement and teaching independent/daily living skills
Qualified candidates must be able to maintain an Iowa Class D3 Chauffeurs License, personal automobile liability coverage, and CPR certification.
