What You'll Do
As the team’s Associate Creative Director/Art, you’ll be leading the creation of the visual stories that stand out on social platforms and a wide range of designs that come to life across digital and real-world ideas. You’ll be a leader within the creative process that creates ideas, acts, and experiences that get made in the real world, talked about on social, and amplified in the press. You’ll partner with the team’s Executive Creative Director, Creative Director/Copy, Writers and Strategists to innovate, and create ideas that break norms and disrupt social media.
Manage a team of creatives in the development of breakthrough campaigns, activations & content creation.
Partner with our Creative Director to lead the internal creative process and promote accountability for creative delivery
Apply conceptual thinking and creativity to help solve complex business problems
Translate brand strategy into powerful and purposeful creative concepts for various channels
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop concepts, designs and art direction
Elevate brand aesthetics while supporting overall brand direction
Oversee projects from concept to completion and ensure quality is up to brand standards
Provide creative direction on website/social/brand and cross platform campaigns
Maintain brand guidelines and design standards
What You'll Need
7+ years of experience with an in-house creative team or advertising agency
Be immersed and knowledgeable in current trending design, content and culture
2+ years of experience in a Sr. Art Director or Associate Creative Director Role managing a team of designers
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, utilize resources, stay organized, identify and address problems and meet deadlines.
Proficiency with software applications used for advertising, such as but not limited to Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint, Google Docs/Slides/Sheets and project management tools.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; a team player, positive and problem solver
Motivated and a take initiative mentality; ability to work independently, in support of building The Kitchen
Be able to visualize and verbalize direction for photoshoots, video shoots and site assets.
