The role is a key member of the team charged with managing contact lenses and eye wellness categories at Luxottica Retail Optical North America. Scope includes LensCrafters, Target Optical, Pearle Vision store and online channels, and other consumer facing businesses as needed in the U.S. and Canada. The objective of the role is to support growth of the category through run-the-business management of the category and implementation of growth initiatives.
Position requires critical thinking, initiative and drive, as well as experience in analytical problem solving, product management, program planning and implementation. Also required is a technical understanding of product, familiarity with supply chain, and ability to work with a global network of partners within and outside of EssilorLuxottica Group.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage category day-to-day to ensure smooth operations, meet store needs, and deliver growth plan in terms of unit volume, mix and gross and net price in partnership with other functions
Support, and often lead, cross-functional initiatives to test and commercialize new offerings and deploy campaigns across channels
Innovate and lead cross-brand projects to evolve Contact Lens selling and fulfillment capabilities, such as subscription, private label, etc
Partner with Sourcing and other partners to establish product technical features and translate them into customer features and benefits in order to inform marketing claims
Define content requirements and accuracy for selling tools, training, customer facing communications, doctor engagement, and others as needed
Present to senior audiences on category results and facilitate discussions on category related topics
Serve as subject matter expert on cross-functional teams to support channel initiatives
BA degree with concentration in marketing, business, operations, engineering or related quantitative fields
7+ years of related work experience
Experience working with cross-functional teams
Exceptional ability to collaborate

Ability to learn and use technical product information
Understanding of product and customer experience
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Advanced degree, such as MBA
