Manages all aspects of the accounts payable function
Reviews and properly records all corporate credit card purchases and employee expense reimbursement requests
Records all cash receipts and revenue transactions. Works closely with NSPT billing service to ensure accurate reporting of revenue-related activity
Prepares and records all journal entries and maintains all supporting documentation and schedules
Reconciles all balance sheet accounts monthly
Processes payroll (hourly and salaried employees) and ensures all associated reporting is accurate and in compliance with all laws and statutory requirements
Prepares analyses of revenue, expense, and balance sheet accounts
Assists in the completion of the monthly financial reporting package
Assists in the completion of the annual budget and periodic forecasts
Assists in the preparation of year-end reporting requirements (compilation / review / audit)
Responds to requests for information supporting preparation of the annual tax return
Other duties as assigned from time to time
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment while maintaining a positive attitude
Excellent organization, planning, prioritization and time-management skills
Must have flexibility in scheduled to meet monthly closing deadlines, etc.
Advanced experience with Quickbooks is a must
Paylocity payroll software is a plus
Must be computer proficient, especially with Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, etc.
