The Vice President, Operations provides overall direction and guidance of the transportation and logistics activities of the organization in order to provide a best in class customer experience through exceptional partnerships within a multi modal network of transportation services with focus on healthcare industry solutions.

This position will sit at our Lake St. Louis location.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement transportation delivery networks along with recruiting and contracting strategies
Setting a clear vision and direction of the entire Logistics team
Increasing the supply of transportation providers to meet increasing demand
Establishing a clear direction for technology partners to ensure the Operational teams’ technology needs are being met along with setting direction for innovative technology solutions
Increasing overall transparency of delivery performance through technology, clear processes and understood expectations
Responsible for 300M+ annual budget, implementation of transportation cost reduction strategies, and achieving established profit margin targets
Overseeing entire national 24 hour operational footprint with over 2000 transportation providers
Identify those specialties and geographic locations on which to concentrate resources for purposes of establishing a sufficient network of participating transportation business partners
Develop a sustainable and compliant network, managing relationships with transportation business partners
Ongoing development and monitoring of the quality and adequacy of the transportation network to ensure MTM is meeting the needs of its Clients and carrying out MTM’s vision
Develop strategies to ensure contract compliance throughout the transportation network
Provide direction on contracting activities
Direct the preparation and negotiation of contracts and oversee negotiation of contracts
Oversee maintenance of all provider contracting processes
Oversee Client-specific fee schedule management
Ensure all KPIs and Client expectations are being met
Provide leadership to all Logistics teams
Manage and develop staff through effective leadership skills

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on quantitative analytics or experience in a related field
Master’s degree preferred
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in quantitative analytics such as: performance measurement, user segmentation, test design, modeling and web analytics
Experience with MS SQL Server or other relational database systems
Intermediate level of proficiency or above in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Knowledge of Trapeze PASS paratransit software suite or event-based paratransit application is required and a detailed understanding of Trapeze is a plus
Proven experience dealing with conflict management and resolution
Extensive knowledge of MTA Mobility protocols
Programming skills preferred
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
