This is an entry level position responsible for providing a broad range of operational support activities for local or regional Pike Engineering operations. Typically, the individual will report to a supervisor or manager in a Pike Engineering office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under supervision the individual in this role is expected to:
• Input information accurately from a variety of sources into computer database or applications to support time and expense entry, work management, invoicing, AP, or other processes as assigned.
- Provide general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, and copying. May serve as the receptionist for the UCS facility.
- Run reports from a variety of tools or systems and review data inputs/outputs for completeness and correctness
- Utilize client geospatial software to create a variety of maps
- Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails as directed
- Meet established deadlines and deliver requested information in a timely manner
Scheduling and coordinating meetings and appointments; Maintain the master calendar of in-house meetings. Stay abreast of all employee calendars & availability; Keep attendance board current for others
Support company and client sponsored events by organizing and scheduling catering, facilities, restaurants, or other vendors as necessary.
Maintain a variety of general administrative reports and databases including fleet, phone lists and PPE assignment
Cost-effectively monitor and order office supplies as required
COMPLEXITY OF WORK:
- Assist with new employee on-boarding process
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Semi-routine; majority of work covered by established procedures.

Exchange of information, which occasionally requires tact and/or diplomacy.

Required High school degree or GED.

- Experience in similar support role or performing general administrative duties. * *Familiarity with utility or engineering office operations is preferred.

A.Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, operational procedures, etc.
B.Ability to write simple correspondence.
1.Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret spread sheets.
A.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
B.Ability to deal with problems involving few concrete variables in standardized situations.
