We are seeking a Marketing Program Specialist to join our Marketing Team in our Dallas office! This is a great opportunity for a recent college graduate! The Marketing Program Specialist is primarily responsible for assisting in the execution of marketing activities, preparation of sales support materials, reports, presentations and category reviews for several consumer package goods clients.

Key Results Areas:
Assist with day to day activities of Director of Marketing/VP, marketing
Prepare promotions and presentations for Director of Marketing/VP, Marketing
Responsible for client pricing and product database by retailer

Skills and Knowledge:
Candidate will possess well developed interpersonal skills, be highly organized, provide team support, be creative, have a sense of urgency, and have strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet Explorer skills, as well as accurate data entry skills.
Candidate will preferably have a solid grounding in design, development and deployment of web-based marketing programs
Candidate will preferably have experience in graphic design with CPG’s and/or retail

Principal Responsibilities:
Develop understanding of client products and programs to support marketing efforts with each retailer and to support efforts of SMI retail team
Prepare and maintain all promotion forms and materials, to include client assets, printed, and on-line collateral.
Coordinate information flow for all promotional activities to ensure the highest quality of retail execution and reporting.
Prepare presentations and analytical reports as directed by Director of Marketing/VP, Marketing
Track presentations, promotions, and category reviews, analyzing final results for future presentations and planning
Maintain accurate pricing and product databases by retailer, working closely with the client
Perform ad hoc requests for Director of Marketing/VP, Marketing as deemed necessary for service to client and customers, to include retailer and/or client meetings
Maintain a close and highly responsive relationship in the day to day activities of Director of Marketing/VP, marketing working independently
Work closely with customers and clients i.e. providing item set up, suggested order quantities, promotions, and product forecasts as directed
Know and understand retailer replenishment processes and systems
Interfacing with clients, customers and internal teams
Initiate and answer correspondence as needed to support business/client needs
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties, including but not limited to:
Product item maintenance in retailer systems, client systems, and SMI systems
Coordinate distribution of product samples and coupons
Coordinate sample requirements for clients and customers
Coordinate brand and product demonstrations and events
Track client trade spending by retailer
Analyze and support weekly reporting requirements for clients and customers
Create, format and provide analytical reporting
Assistant and support other marketing team members as directed

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, is required.
Must be able to successfully pass Microsoft Excel test
Consumer packaged-goods experience a plus.
Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
The ability to manage several projects simultaneously to completion is essential.
