Summary:
Performs maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, production machinery, equipment, and grounds by performing the duties and responsibilities outlined below.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Schedule and perform preventative maintenance on all machinery and equipment
2. Diagnose and repair problems with machinery, equipment, and drive systems
3. Source and order parts and adhere to department budget
4. Install new parts
5. Repair hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems
6. Perform light fabrication, welding, electrical, and water and air plumbing
7. Communicate maintenance issues with management
8. Perform all duties per workstation SOP
9. Follow all safety procedures
10. Maintain a clean work area
11. Perform other duties as assigned

Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Math Ability:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office, CAD, and Microsoft Internet Explorer or equivalent. Employee will be required to troubleshoot drives and other systems, so knowledge of manufacturing software and drive programs is required.
Education/Experience:
Mechanical skills learned at a technical school and four to six years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
