Fulltime (Nights)

Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to:

Operates Diagnostic equipment (Proteus, AMX portables, C-Arm).

Operates G.E. VCT CT equipment, power injector and determines proper closing and safety factors for the patient/examinations.

Starts I.V. catheters on requisite patients.

Completes daily and/or weekly CT QA as per ACR recommendation

Carefully explains the examination to the patient to ensure understanding of what is to transpire, as well as possible complications and contrast reaction.

Evaluates images for technical quality as well as proper film marking and patient identification.

Positions patients for any and all radiographic examinations and follows SOP 2.0 for examination routines.

Verifies patient identification and examination to be performed before starting the procedure

Performs clerical duties

Reports equipment malfunction or damage to the department manager in a timely manner.

Assumes responsibility for assigned area; control inventory of supplies for assigned area and clean and disinfects exam rooms and equipment as needed.


  • Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiology education program
  • ARRT certification required
  • Current Texas Department of Health-Bureau of Radiation Control MRT program certification
