TAKTL is a Pittsburgh-based designer and manufacturer of facade panels and architectural elements utilizing propriety new Architectural Ultra High Performance Concrete (AIUHPC) formulation and automated production technology. Our products have been chosen for building envelopes in prestigious commercial and institutional projects worldwide.
We are currently seeking an Architectural Projects Coordinator. In this role you will work with experienced architects and designers on a wide a variety of projects with responsibilities that bridge our Technical Sales and Project Management departments. This position provides opportunities to develop AutoCAD detailing, scheduling, and critical thinking skills while learning the ins-and-outs of rain-screen design and architectural cladding systems.
Providing support to Technical Sales Managers, Design Consultants, and Project Managers
Completing take-offs to prepare preliminary pricing and bidding quotes
Reviewing specifications to determine project requirements
Drafting fabrication drawings for project production
Drafting architectural details and proposed panel layouts
Maintaining project records and sales projection database (CRM)
Conversing with clients and prospective clients
BA/BS/BArch in Architecture or related field
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Organizational and systems-oriented personality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
1+ year architectural or office experience (including internships)
Exposure to wide range of skills development
