Amazon’s Aviation Security (AvSec) team is looking for AvSec Credentialing Administrators (ACA) to join its growing team! The ACA will perform Aviation Security functions at Air Sites related to the credentialing process. The functions include managing the credentialing process for the Air facility, processing background clearances, conducting quality assurance audits, and supporting Work Force Staffing (WFS), HR, and Recruiting. The ACS will be certified for fingerprint collection (Training provided) and accepting regulated background applications. The ACA will work closely with AvSec Program Management (PM) team for special projects other essential job functions as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Execute aviation security processes at the site following Standard Work

Manage security credentialing of applicants, both external and internal

Support New Hire Events, in conjunction with WFS, to process applicants

Collect Fingerprints electronically or manual

Escalate abnormal situations and aviation security related concerns to the AvSec Program Manager

Serve as a liaison between Site AvSec and AvSec PM

Ensure AvSec Credentialing databases are kept current

Filing clear and concise records at the end of each activity

Perform Quality Assurance Audits

Reporting Credentialing Metrics

Attend New Hire Orientation, print and distribute Amazon Air Badges

Work with WFS, HR and Amazon Recruiters on credentialing needs

- Bachelor’s Degree
-
1+ year of leadership experience directly managing others
-
1+ year working in a similar environment (e.g., FC, SC, small package logistics)
-
1+ year working in a similarly regulated environment (e.g., air cargo, airline)
-
Ability to influence others without direct managerial responsibility
-
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to coach, train and assist team members
TRAVEL
No long distance travel is required, however, there will travel between local node facilities. May be offered the opportunity to assist with new site launches, and to provide sick/absentee coverage at other locations.
