We're looking for a creative and organized individual to lead the curation and production of FB AIR art installations and related content for Facebook’s West Coast offices in The Americas. The Curator/Producer will help us achieve the goals of the Artist-in-Residence program by sourcing local artists, producing site-specific installations, organizing community engagement and sharing content. This is a full-time position based out of our office in Seattle (frequent travel throughout The Americas).
RESPONSIBILITIES
Artist research, outreach and proposal development
Artist onboarding, contracting, fee negotiation and timeline development
Coordination with architects, contractors and facilities team to ensure timelines and deliverables
On-site project management to ensure successful installations and content (10% time travel required, bi-monthly trips within The Americas West Coast)
Source and coordinate vendors (photographers, videographers, art installers etc.)
Help concept and produce public programs/events, leveraging Facebook’s creative reputation
Distribute content across social media channels and track/analyze metrics (Facebook and Instagram primarily)
Coordination tasks including (but not limited to) creation of Keynote presentations, layout of wall labels in Illustrator, Dropbox file organization
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of arts administration/curation/project management experience
Experience working with networks of artists, curators, non-profit arts organizations and vendors
Proven track record of curating and producing innovative art programs
Experience prioritizing tasks, managing deadlines, and adapting with changing priorities
Experience in copyediting, project management tools and social media
Degree in art-related field
