This position is primarily responsible for supporting the production coordination needs of the Olympic Channel. In addition, as needed, the candidate is expected to interface and collaborate with other internal or external partners for the successful completion of assigned projects associated with the Olympic Channel, Operations and Productions teams.
Support production and operation personnel during every phase of production
Coordinate and communicate with OBS, NBC, NBCSN, and Olympic Channel in regards to show deliverables, music tracking, and footage needs
Compile music cue sheets for music tracking thru the NBC Universal Audio Library
Coordinate studio schedules and live studio production logistics
Coordinate logistics for on site operations at various sporting events (potential to travel)
Coordinate with outside vendors on sporting productions
Coordinate schedule creation and personnel scheduling
Book the traveling talents’ / crews’ flights, rental cars and hotel reservations
Coordinate onsite onboarding and freelancer timecard approval
Coordinate graphics needs and changes with the graphics team
Coordinate VOD programming deliverables
Perform administrative support duties, status reports, etc.
Collaborate internally with HR, legal, finance, Operations in alignment with corporate policies
Assist with budget reconciliation and tracking in coordination with management and finance
Assist as needed with intern programs and intern recruitment
Provide additional support to Production and Operations teams in whatever capacity is required
Bachelor’s degree in Communications or a related field
Minimum two (2) years’ experience in the television/film production business, preferably at a network or production facility.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, digital media formats and understand the methods of television production
Basic knowledge of production server environment and workflows
Basic understanding of social media, mobile and the general digital landscape
Live sport event production and live studio production experience an asset
