As an Account Supervisor at Javelin, you are responsible for managing day-to-day client relationships. You lead designated projects, build trust and confidence, and deliver smart and flawless work all in support of our client’s vision. You will work closely with the Senior Account Director to ensure the creative and project management teams have the resources and ability to deliver the best work while seeking opportunities to expand our service offering within this established account.
You’ll join a growing healthcare-focused team with high visibility within the agency. You’ll work with top tier pharma clients across-discipline peers within Javelin and also partner with sister agencies that understand the healthcare space and who want you to be an integral part of the team. You’ll support multiple brands with digital-forward and patient focused objectives. Onboarding this exciting business will challenge you and provide opportunities to continue to hone your skills. What you’ll do:
Work directly with clients to understand the true needs of the business and the category, ask questions and make recommendations in order to improve upon the initial ask
Approach each task with a keen attention to detail while maintaining the ability to understand the bigger picture and how the details contribute to the larger goal
Demonstrate the thoughtfulness and maturity to recognize when to take the initiative and when to consult with their team
Lead with a sense of curiosity and desire to elevate the status quo
Understand the delicate balance of strategic thinking and navigating the regulatory environment to tactical execution
Thrive in being an extension of our client’s team and being face-to-face with the client often (2x/week)
What you’ve got:
As a qualified candidate, you have a solid foundation in strategic marketing and client partnerships. You are proficient in healthcare advertising and have experience leading integrated marketing programs that span digital, print and video projects. You champion the use of data and insights to help drive the strategy. And you LOVE healthcare.
6-8 years related agency experience, consumer healthcare experience is a must
Prior oncology and global account experience a plus
Integrated marketing agency experience a must — digital campaign expertise required
Experience working onsite at client facilities, occasional travel and interfacing with senior-level clients
Excellent verbal, written, negotiation and presentation communication skills
Proven ability to lead projects and cross-functional team members, then switch gears to work autonomously as needed
Exhibit tenacity in the face of challenging circumstances or complex projects
Have a POV and can lead the client strategically to understand the business need
Strong organization and project management skills
Developed exceptional standards for quality and strong attention to detail
Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related discipline
