The Business Wellness Consultant (BWC) is an expert in assessing the health and wellness needs of multi-location retail establishments, businesses of < 100 employees, community based and civic organizations; while providing them with solutions to both measure and address both their employee and customer healthcare concerns. In this role, you will work directly with business owners, managers and key human resource personnel to develop and execute spinal health screenings, workshops and employee appreciation events that support the overall health of employees and offers value added benefits to a business’ customer base.
The BWC role is responsible for acquiring leads through prospecting, qualified lists, organic growth and relationships; assessing organizational health and wellness needs with qualified candidates; then providing our suite of services with A-list partners to execute events that measure and address discovered healthcare needs. The services provided increase individual health, drive down organizational heath care expenditures and provide value added events in partnership with business and community based leadership. Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Enhances customer, employer and employee health awareness and promotes new initiatives by implementing a variety of health and wellness programs that meet the requirements of a diverse workforce and public in addressing the changing healthcare needs of our community
Analyzes client health challenges using all available internal health care data such as health assessment results, claims utilization data, employee survey data, and other data as appropriate to create wellness programs or initiatives that meet the company or organizational goals
Translates identified health needs of the client population into creative, high-energy, high visibility solutions that improve employee engagement, health and productivity, reduce company health care and workers compensation costs and creates exciting public facing interactive events
Develops, implements and maintains health promotion/wellness programs and events by benchmarking successful external programs and staying current with best practices to drive continuous improvement of employee health and decrease employer costs on a year over year basis
Plans and coordinates spinal health screenings, employee and consumer appreciation events, workshops, and additional programs targeted at the client’s health and wellness strategy
Perform other duties as assigned
Ability to accept responsibility and personal accountability for your actions, performance and results
Ability to work successfully at both a strategic and tactical level with key personnel of businesses, corporations, C-level executives, civic and organizational leadership administration.
Must have excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills with high emotional intelligence to connect with multi-cultural, diverse and professional sectors
Strong critical thinking, problem identification and solving capabilities
Self-motivated with the ability and desire to work both independently and effectively within a larger team
BA or BS Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field preferred
Experience working in the Health and Wellness industry preferred
A minimum of three (2) years of Business to Business (B2B) sales experience
Experience in sales with a focus on accomplishing measurable performance metrics
Experience using CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
Must have a track record of achieving and surpassing sales quotas
