The Strategic Trade Ally Manager plays a pivotal role in managing and nurturing relationships with top contractors and trade allies within the region. This position is responsible for fostering strategic partnerships, driving collaboration, and maximizing the participation of trade allies in energy efficiency programs and initiatives. This position serves as a key liaison between the company and its trade allies, providing support, resources, and guidance to optimize their involvement and contribution to the success of energy efficiency projects.
The position is based out of our Chalfont, PA office and will be a hybrid role with time spent in the office as well as remote or in the field.
Tasks Include:
- Build relationships with the top electrical distributors, Trade Allies, and channel partners in the region to achieve program goals. Understands, identify and work closely with electrical distributors.
- Provide resources, education and support to electrical distributors, Trade Allies, and contractors. Develop and execute strategic engagement plans and activities.
- Works closely with Sales Director to monitor project results and to develop recommendations to improve the program as needs are identified.
- Execute activities designed to promote energy efficiency. Help plan and support energy efficiency outreach events and activities.
- Possesses a solid understanding of the technology segments and a deep understanding of the industry and maintains excellent client relations with utility.
- Plan and deliver presentations at meetings and training events for trade allies and other marketing channel partners, customers, clients, and others.
- Work closely with marketing and outreach team to monitor program results and collaborate to improve the program as needs are identified.
- Maintain excellent client relationships.
Position Qualifications:
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Industrial or Distribution Sales position with significant professional experience developing customer relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Marketing, Management or related field.
- Preferred Knowledge with utility and/or energy efficiency programs.
- The knowledge and confidence with developing strategic account plans.
- Experienced and comfortable with managing multiple, shifting priorities and deadlines during weekly task loads. Ability to negotiate changing priorities with the customer.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office platform: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with social selling and business development skills through LinkedIn.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
