This position, within the Wells Fargo Advisors Recruiting Team, will be responsible for full-life cycle recruitment activities to hire the next generation of financial advisors in our branches across the country. This Recruiter will develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of internal leadership, while directing all recruiting-related activities to deliver on specific talent acquisition strategies. They will conduct innovative employment sourcing campaigns to recruit qualified candidates, with an emphasis on diversity. This individual will also develop and maintain effective working relationships in the local community to source qualified candidates and build pipelines for future openings.

This Recruiter will be responsible for delivering a positive and efficient candidate experience by demonstrating effective communication skills and providing candidates with accurate and complete information. It will be critical for this individual to stay current with industry trends and developments. This individual will be expected to plan and execute recruiting strategies to recruit top talent in a high volume environment. Demonstrating effective risk management and controls for OFCCP compliance is a minimum expectation to include accurate documentation and requisition management, while consulting hiring managers on same.

Location: St. Louis, MO or Charlotte, NC

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Sourcing, recruiting and screening qualified candidates from external and internal sources.
Conduct phone screens and measure candidates against a specific job profile, recommend candidates to hiring managers for in-person interviews, disposition both external and internal candidates.
Working knowledge of State and Federal employment law, EEO, Affirmative Action and Diversity Policies.
Develops innovative sourcing strategies to increase the quantity, quality and diversity of the candidate pool.
Coordinates and participates in Wells Fargo sponsored job/community fairs to promote the Wells Fargo Employment Brand.
Works with management to guide the interview process, while ensuring a fair and equitable hiring decision is made and documented appropriately.
Gathers documents and maintains candidate information for legal and system’s compliance.
Consults with managers to ensure offers of employment are in line with the Wells Fargo’s compensation philosophy.
Works closely with hiring managers in understanding their business needs, and building trusting and positive relationships by providing recruiting knowledge and strategic recruiting solutions.

This Recruiter will be expected to work across Wholesale, WIM and the larger Talent Acquisition organization to share best practices and ensure resources are maximized.

Required Qualifications

2+ years of recruiting experience, human resources experience, or a combination of both

Desired Qualifications

Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Knowledge and understanding of HR policies, practices and procedures, including an understanding of legal and OFCCP recruiting requirements
Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership
Strong risk management and compliance skills
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
A BS/BA degree or higher
Financial services experience
Experience delivering results in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
Experience successfully collaborating with others in a change driven environment
Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment
Ability to build and execute pro-active sourcing strategies for hard to fill specialty positions

Other Desired Qualifications
Experience sourcing and recruiting specialty positions such as relationship managers and financial advisors
