JOB DESCRIPTION:Â Â
SAIC is seeking a Quality Manager to support the operation of IT shared services for a large government agency in a tele-work capacity.Â
The Quality Manager ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews program deliverables; performs quality control on team products.Â
Achieves quality assurance operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer- service standards; identifying and resolving problems; completing audits; determining system improvements; implementing change.Â
Develops quality assurance plans by conducting hazard analyses; identifying critical control points and preventive measures; establishing critical limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures; monitoring inventories.Â
Validates quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes; measuring production; documenting evidence; determining operational and performance qualification; writing and updating quality assurance procedures.Â
Maintains and improves IT system, component, and process quality by completing system, compliance, and surveillance audits; investigating customer service trends; and supporting engineering and operations staff on problems analysis.Â
Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, recalls, corrective actions, and re-validations.Â
Job Dutiese:Â
Ability to maintain the contract’s Quality Management Plan in accordance with the agency’s Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) using best practices from ISO and ITIL.Â
Ability to apply quality control principles to establish and maintain processes for evaluating project deliverables and associated documentation.Â
Knowledge of SLA commercial best practices to provide oversight for developing and verifying SLAs.Â
Knowledge of IT systems to enable collaboration with Infrastructure Operations and Engineering team members on root cause analysis of quality issues for all enterprise systems.
Ability to perform quality assurance reviews/audits of closed tickets in the service management system to ensure proper coding.Â
Able to perform daily technical direction and oversight of support staff for all quality functions.Â
Report quality inspection findings and quality metrics to agency, SAIC, and subcontractor management team.Â
Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Â
Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experienceÂ

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: Public Trust
Clearance Level To Obtain: Public Trust

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience (Experience considered in lieu of degree.)
5 years or more of experience of Quality Assurance/Quality Control in IT Service Management.Â
ITIL Foundation Level certification
Relevant American Society for Quality (ASQ) certification
5 years experience with development, implementation, and maintenance of an enterprise Quality Management System (QMS).Â

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge of ITIL and ISO.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills required to brief executive management of the agency, SAIC, and subcontractor companies.
Must have proven ability to lead a diverse team.
Experience performing supervisory functions and OTJ (on the job) training is required.
