Position: Associate Retention Marketing Manager
Hiscox is looking for a customer-obsessed, data-driven and detail oriented Associate Retention Marketing Manager to join a new and exciting Retention and Loyalty team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager of Retention and Loyalty, you will be responsible for the management and execution of projects and campaigns that increase engagement, retention, loyalty, and life time value (LTV) amongst our end insureds. Additionally, you will be responsible for our advocacy measurement and reporting and managing those vendor relationships. This position will collaborate closely with your retention marketing colleagues, our service center, and other internal marketing teams.

What you’ll do:
Develop trigger-based, marketing automation campaigns to maximize premium per user, retention, and brand loyalty across all audiences
Identify logical customer segmentations and lifecycle stages, based on data and insights, to pilot and iterate targeted campaigns against
Identify new initiatives to test, based on research/insight work and customer feedback
Define campaigns and test plans that deliver relevant messages, at the right time, in the right channel
Create a rich feedback loop between our end insureds, service-center, and the business
Analyze qualitative and quantitative on-going feedback from our customers
Share findings with internal stakeholders monthly to quarterly
Make insight data-driven recommendations on next steps and website optimizations
Assist with the strategy and support the delivery and execution of customer retention and loyalty programs; including but not limited to referral and surprise and delight programs
Brief cross-functional teams on copy, creative, and/or email programming needs as needed and manage the delivery to hit project timelines
Measure and report on impact of project and campaign performance against key engagement and retention metrics to internal stakeholders
3+ years’ experience in B2B or B2C marketing
Strong experience developing and executing email marketing campaigns a must
Proven ability to analyze trends in qualitative feedback, absorb customer insights and apply them to all facets of your work
Strong project management skills. Must be able to prioritize and meet deadlines while simultaneously handling multiple initiatives/projects
Comfortable balancing both short and long-term growth goals, supported by a commitment to a data-driven decision making process
Experience with survey monkey or other survey-based tools and writing marketing briefs a must
Strong listening and communication skills. Must be comfortable communicating with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, with the ability to adapt your communication style and approach real-time
Motivated self-starter with a genuine ‘can-do’ attitude and eagerness to collaborate, learn, and contribute. Equally satisfied updating marketing collateral as managing a research project
Extremely comfortable working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
Collaborative team-player, able to inspire cross-functional teams to work with you
Experience working with and managing agency partners preferred
Bachelor’s Degree with marketing or equivalent related degree preferred
Experience with content management systems, Marketing Automation, and/or CRM a plus
