Position Overview
Job Title: Senior Consultant – Group Management Consulting
Corporate Title: Assistant Vice President
Location: New York, NY


You will be joining the Group Management Consulting (GMC) team – an in-house strategy consultancy function that plays a key role across the Bank to turn the vision of Deutsche Bank Group into reality. You will work with senior management across the Bank to address the most pressing concerns by driving collaborative thinking and strategic change. Together with your project teams, you will lead and execute high impact initiatives, in partnership with stakeholders in an international environment. As part of GMC, you will gain exposure to a project portfolio that covers areas across the entire Group, including specific business divisions and infrastructure functions.

Your Role

What You’ll Do:
Contributing and supporting leadership of senior management projects for Deutsche Bank Group
Ensuring project success from conception to final implementation
Facilitating the successful delivery of work streams or smaller projects
Defining project-solving procedures to be used
Assuming responsibility and playing an active role in further developing the division, researching issues and developing best practices and methods
Supporting GMC internal development projects and practice documents preparation

Skills You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree level or equivalent qualification
Relevant work experience in Financial Services
Relevant client-facing experience in management consulting / corporate strategy
Demonstrated history of using Microsoft Office tools in work history – Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and Word in particular

Skills That Will Help You Excel:
Excellent client focus, as well as absolute confidence in working with senior executives
Strong analytical and conceptual skills to solve complex problems by developing creative and structured solutions
An understanding of conflict management skills
Previous experience working in an international environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High level of personal initiative
Ability to work at the highest level of quality under time pressure
Demonstrable ability to work within in a team
