Business Description

Source to Contract Operations

Within Global Procurement, Source to Contract Operations (S2C-Ops) is part of Deutsche Bank’s Procurement & Travel Operations organization. We support the end-to-end Procurement process, and are directly responsible for connecting the company’s transactional procurement activities with strategic procurement. This includes the following: Contract & Enablement Services, Compliance Purchase Channels, Buying Services, and Consumption Management.

Team Objectives:
Improve end-to-end procurement process
Improve stakeholder engagement and interfaces with COO and Finance
Execute transactional buying services
Ensure buying channel compliance
Act as a retained organization for all outsourced services in the source to contract area
Deliver sustainable cost savings

Lead the global buying organization within Procurement Operations
Identify opportunities for leveraging contracts and existing vendors that result in cost savings
Implement new buying concepts and partner with the Business to achieve savings targets
Drive the procurement function toward world class P2P platform (based on new technologies like Ariba Guided Buying)
Be a change agent leader, driving the transformation necessary to achieve world class buying performance by the organization
Ensure standardized processes are performed correctly and are auditable
Establish & implement buying policies and guidelines to achieve buying compliance
Improve and promote Source to Contract Operations value adds across the Bank to increase Deutsche Bank’s global operating model standardization
Lead enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, including savings initiatives, cost reduction, resource/location/outsourcing strategies
Manage outcome-based deliverables with strong focus on consistency in strategic partner sourcing, performance, reporting and communications
Lead upcoming projects and on-demand tasks such as savings initiatives, audits or data requests

Procurement Operations experience
Experience in Supply Chain Management including procure-to-pay process
For internal use only
SAP/ Ariba experience is a plus
Project Management experience
Ability to monitor, track and clearly communicate progress in a structured and analytical way, escalating issues when appropriate
Ability to get buy-in and commitment from both internal and external stakeholders, especially from senior stakeholders and complex situations
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight as well as in a team setting
Experience leading a global team across different time zones and within a matrix environment
Ability to think strategically, while delivering bottoms-up analysis with a detailed oriented and tactical approach
Strong organizational and Communication skills to create a good network to drive change
Strong reporting skills at senior management level
Willingness to challenge the status quo (to improve existing processes)
Fluent in English (written/verbal)

Relevant Bachelor or Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university
