Army Readiness Specialist Regional Leads provide assistance to US Army Reserve (USAR) and transitioning soldiers seeking support services to include job seeking, developing and enhancing resumes, assisting with job application processes and job interviews, and job expertise transitions from military to civilian careers. Army Readiness Specialist Regional Leads assist military dependents, veterans, and sister service members. The Regional Lead maintains active communication with private sector partners and collaborators in their individual areas of responsibility and assists with the management, oversight, guidance, and support of client programs in the development of a private sector partner or collaborator. The Army Readiness Specialist Regional Lead keeps an active list of private sector partners and collaborators, including point of contact information and current initiatives, programs, and projects that help support program objectives. The Lead will establish and maintain a process that helps identify private sector partner and collaborator efforts in referring, interviewing, and hiring soldiers, veterans, and dependents.
BA or BS in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field from a college or university that is accredited by a national or regional agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or ten (10) years of experience with HR or recruiting.
Five (5) years of experience with HR or career counseling or recruiting/job placement.
Responsible for training and oversight of all other ARSs assigned within their RD/MSCs geographic footprint.
Must possess demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in customer service skills, use of routine office equipment, Microsoft Office computer programs (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and web-based applications.
This position may require some travel.
Must have knowledge of USAR occupations and organizational structure.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
