2 HOURS PER DAYOrganizational Relationship or Line of Authority: Directly Responsible to the Principal Statement of Duties: Be at assigned location on time in the morning and the afternoon.Stop all traffic from the middle of the crosswalk before allowing any students to cross.Use the stop sign and vest so it can be seen from each traveling lane.Inform students not to cross the street until you have stopped all traffic.Remain in the crosswalk until all students have safely passed.Report students who are not behaving or following your directions to the principal of the building.Report all vehicles (plate numbers) that refuse to stop or abide by your directions to the building principal or the supervisor of transportation.Qualifications: Must be physically fit and capable of performing all duties.Must be honest, sincere, and scrupulous in his/her relationship with students and school personnel in accomplishing his/her work.Ability to communicate with young people, including the ability to be able to set limits without being antagonistic or abrasive.Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate and acceptable.
