The Executive Associate Program provides unparalleled access to a range of rewarding hospitality opportunities and to a network of corporate executives and senior-level property leadership from across our organization. MGM Resorts International extends full-time MBA students who are completing the final academic year of their programs, as well as recent graduates of full-time MBA programs, the opportunity to apply their education and experience to a challenging position in the casino resort industry. Executive Associate hires report to corporate executives and receive mentoring and formal professional feedback. Executive Associate hires can be placed into a variety of business divisions including operations, marketing, finance, and human resources.
Placements can be either on a rotational basis or on a dedicated basis depending on the individual’s skillsets and interest, and the Company’s strategic needs. All placement areas involve strategic and/or analytic projects to provide an opportunity to gain experience in several key functional areas. With only a small number of Executive Associates hires among a talent pool of more than 60,000 employees, our Executive Associates are highly visible to the MGM Resorts International leadership team. The Executive Associate program is intended to develop leaders through ongoing development, coaching and mentorship to develop the strategic and leadership skills necessary for a career with MGM Resorts International. Individuals selected as full-time Executive Associates will be part of the program for up to 18 months, by which time they will be expected to have secured a permanent position within the Company.
Take ownership of high-impact initiatives, conduct analyses, make recommendations, and drive implementation.
Develop analytical frameworks and repeatable models to support high-impact initiatives related to various functional areas, which can include operations, marketing, finance, and/or human resources
Conduct market and company research, analyze data, and complete financial and data-driven analyses as relevant
Develop and produce presentations to articulate best practice recommendations for implementation and syndicate with multiple stakeholders
Support a work environment that promotes client service, teamwork, performance feedback, individual recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction
Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance, adhering to MGM Resorts International standards
Complete additional special projects and complete other job-related duties as assigned
Current enrollment in the final academic year of a full-time MBA program, or recent graduation for such program.
Four-year undergraduate degree; business, engineering, or related quantitative field preferred but not required.
Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA required.
Superior academic track record and standardized test scores. Must provide undergraduate GPA and GMAT score upon request.
Previous work experience in management consulting, finance, consumer products, marketing, and/or brand management.
Leadership experience with groups of diverse people of varying skills, educational levels, cultural backgrounds, and experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Excellent communication skills, in both verbal and written form. Able to present information in clear, concise terms to all position levels in the Company, including senior executives. Ability to be persuasive, yet tactful.
