The Knee Center for the Study of Occupational Regulations (CSOR), an academic research center within the Shields School of Business at Saint Francis University invites applications for a full time position as a Legislative Research Assistant/Analyst. The Legislative Research Assistant/Analyst is responsible to the Director and Assistant Director of CSOR to assist with the construction and maintenance of a research database on occupational licensing state laws, statues, administrative rules and regulations.
Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, Pre-Law, History, Sociology, Human Resource Management, or Social Sciences related field or equivalent experience in a law office with an emphasis on legislative work required. Master’s Degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Political Science, History, or Social Science Field preferred. Excellent written, oral, and research skills required. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite products required. Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment with attention to details preferred. Ability to work independently or with a team and able to travel at least one week a month. Experience conducting legislative or academic scholarly research preferred.
