Our Product Technologists play an essential role in creating technologies that drive human progress. Using our in-depth product knowledge, we provide pre-sales technical expertise for the development and implementation of complex products, applications and solutions. We’re relied upon to deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations to sales staff and customers and provide technical input into bid proposals. We also assess the potential of products to meet customer needs.

Field Marketing Managers are Marketing, Technical & Sales Resourcestasked with delivering profitable server share growth through the enablement of marketing & sales teams.
Assessing market trends, quantifying opportunities and developing marketing programs, Field Marketing at Dell is at the forefront of customer engagement. Responsible for a specific location, department or product, our teams drive marcom strategy – from making budget recommendations to defining roadmaps and informing content themes. Interacting directly with customers and utilizing third-party customer data, they provide Dell’s product marketing and messaging team with game-changing feedback. At the highest level, they develop and drive marketing policies and activities, from market research through brand management and product development to pricing.
Build and develop relationships with Core, MDC, End Uers
Monitor/drive pipeline sufficiency by developing quarterly execution plans/targets to deliver pipeline and execution metrics
Collaborate with Sales and stakeholders to drive business
Support Field Pre-Sales with critical accounts, deals and sales
Monitor and convey data including price increases, market changes and product lifecycle
Provide subject matter expertise to Dell account teams with key customer and partner engagements
Undergraduate degree required; MBA a plus
4+ years of relevant business experience in the IT industry (Sales, Sales Operations or Product Engineering –sales experience preferred)
Understanding of the Dell sales structure, culture and ethos is a plus
Proven ability to operate successfully in fast paced environments & ever-changing priorities
