This position is responsible for the overall network health of their region. This includes partnering with the Sales & Service team, implementing network strategy to grow and maintain EyeMed’s network, and responsibility for building and maintaining positive provider relationships. Executing strategies and appropriate reporting to close network gaps, maximize provider retention, increase provider satisfaction and ensure compliance with state legislation within the geography are key areas of focus.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with Sales & Account Management to ensure alignment between the sales strategy and EyeMed network. Develop and implement appropriate project timeline in collaboration with the sales and service teams
Responsible for the network development and growth within a given geographic location, including managing relationships and a thorough knowledge of network, providers and provider groups within the region
Work with network providers to address administrative concerns or issues, leveraging available tools and resources.
Execute recruiting strategy to ensure coverage to facilitate sales and fill client specific requests. Direct recruitment efforts to potential providers and present the EyeMed program in a quality and professional manner, while complying with all marketing collateral to deliver the Provider Core Story
Finalize recruitment and contracting effort in order to fulfill credentialing and delivering requirements when appropriate. Periodically interface with EyeMed clients to provide updates regarding network status and recruiting.
Lead the network and contracting effort to help providers comply with administration requirements. Assist provider to resolve any outstanding credentialing issues, working closely with appropriate internal departments
Participate in trade show events and conferences to support contracting, recruiting and communication efforts to provider community. When appropriate, manage trade shows within approved budget and coordinate logistics management
Responsible for building business cases to provide the recommended approach for provider reimbursement increases
5+ years of client facing experience
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Ability to communicate status updates and priorities and maintain composure in stressful situations
Strong relationship management skills. Ability to provide exceptional service, clearly identify needs, and manage resistances or concerns from the customer
Able to manage the details of numerous customers simultaneously. Properly sets expectations with customers and follows-through on execution to completion
Strong analytical and problem solving skills in regards to operations and administrative processes.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, identify/address problems and meet deadlines
Constructively challenges the process and searches for opportunities to improve processes. Recommends and implements defined changes in process
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel
Demonstrated work experience in employee benefits, healthcare, or a related field
Knowledge and understanding of plan benefit designs, standards of administration, managed vision care and network options
Working knowledge of the private doctor community
