PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Connecting with prospective Residents and families to determine needs and qualifications for residing in our memory care communities.
- Maintaining detailed customer database in order to stay in close contact with potential Residents/family members.
- On a regular basis, tour prospective Residents through the community, model apartments, available services, associated fees, and terms of lease.
- Inspecting condition of apartments and premises daily and arranging for necessary maintenance to assure Calson shows positively to the community.
- Establishing strategic sales plans to guide marketing efforts and help achieve occupancy objectives.
- Effectively educates the greater community regarding Management in order to gain appropriate resident referrals.
- Establishing and maintaining a consistent image throughout the Community, with promotional materials and special events held or sponsored by Calson.
- Monitoring competitive services and marketing activities of other assisted living communities in the area so to assure Napa Senior Care remains competitive in the marketplace.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with industry influencers and key community and strategic partners such as national ALFA chapters, Alzheimer’s Association, AARP, Diabetes Foundation, and so forth. Serves as liaison with outside agencies to create goodwill for Napa Senior Care and educate those outside agencies on Calson Management services.
- Maintaining confidentiality of all pertinent personal or health information concerning Residents and team members.
- Other duties as assigned and which relate to the success of Napa senior Care, Comfort, and Happiness of our Residents.
The Sales DIRECTOR will report to the Executive Director and/ VP of Sales and will meet regularly with that person to provide status reports and engage in the process of strategic planning related to the position.
Most importantly, the Sales DIRECTOR will maintain a positive and compassionate working relationship with the prospective Residents and families.
Responsible for all sales data (leads) and sales activity to be logged into CRM.
QUALIFICATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS:
The person in this position must be outgoing, warm, friendly, able to keep composure during critical times, able to blend in with team members and Residents, and able to formulate a new direction quickly when the need arises by being a problem solver and be able to communicate with all personality types.
The person in this position will be required to maintain the proper documentation to ensure compliance with policies and procedures as set forth by MANAGEMENT well as State, Local and Federal rules and laws regulating the operation and licensure of the community and its staff.
- Demonstrated sales experience in senior living, hotel/hospitality or related healthcare environment preferred (i.e. hospital, skilled nursing, long term care, hospice, CCRC or home health)
- Previous sales experience and successful track record in identifying and building local relationships to drive business.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to facilitate small-group presentations.
- Proven ability to effectively handle multiple priorities with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills, as well as a deeply ingrained passion for seniors to successfully nurture relationships.
- Schedule flexibility to work one weekend day per week (usually a Tuesday-Saturday schedule) as well as some evenings as needed.
- Computer proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, as well as the ability to learn new applications; previous knowledge of a client relationship management tool for tracking leads preferred.
It will be mandatory within the first (7) days of employment that this person have a Health Certification signed by a Physician. This certification must verify that this person has no communicable diseases, open lesions, or any other health problem, which could interfere with individual’s job performance.
· This person must be criminally cleared by DOJ and FBI via the Live-Scan process prior to employment.
· This person understands that MANAGEMENT operates as a Drug Free Workplace per Policies set forth in the Company Handbook.
· Valid CA Driver’s License, DMV printout
