We have an opening for an immigration paralegal to join our growing legal team. It is a collaborative group where you have plenty of opportunity and responsibility. We procure the necessary work visas, work permits, and residence permits that employees need to live and work in the U.S. You will report directly to the Lead Attorney in the legal department.
The ideal candidate will possess experience preparing a full range of business immigration petitions and applications for corporate clients. Candidates must have a client-service attitude with excellent case management skills. We're looking for someone who possess the knowledge of procedural requirements for different types of non-immigrant, and immigrant visas. This paralegal will participate in all aspects of our Immigration practice, including assisting in the management of client relationships, case review, analysis, preparation and filing immigrant and non-immigrant petitions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze case documents and prepare immigration applications for filing with the appropriate government agency.
- Communicate with clients and foreign nationals regarding procedural and case processing issues and assisting with the review of cases.
- Oversee status of cases through utilization of case management systems and run reports.
- Make regular updates to our case management system including client information, case tracking information, and client communications.
- Set up electronic case matter files, prepare requests and obtain necessary case documentation.
- Research immigration and general case laws and applicable regulations.

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field. The ideal candidate will have one year or more of U.S. business immigration experience, but entry-level candidates will also be considered.
- 2-3 years of experience as an immigration paralegal or other legal field.
- In-depth knowledge of federal immigration laws and regulations.
- Organizational skills to manage work priorities.
- Willingness to learn new information about immigration processes in the U.S. and countries around the world.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.); Adobe and the ability to learn new software applications as needed.
