Princess Cruises – We are currently searching for a highly motivated Creative Manager (Art Director) who supports and assists the Creative Director in developing and maintaining the creative vision for Princess. The Art Director, directs and manages the Graphic Designers. The Art Director also shares execution/composition responsibilities with Senior Graphic Designer to help manage day-to-day workload. Partnering with the Creative Manager Strategy, the Art Director, manages, guides, and cultivates creative solutions by executing creative strategies. Reporting directly to the Creative Director.

Mentors and develops Graphic, keeping staff motivated and enthusiastic being available to critique their work to maintain consistent creative quality
Conducts continuous performance reviews of Graphic Designers
Work with Creative Director to address performance, workflow, and quality issues and develop long-range plans for the creative group
Lead the Designers in development of daily concepts and execution
Assure that all Designers are trained, and where needed, mentored to maintain the standards and expectations of the brand to meet their own career goals
Provides detailed direction to Designers
Manages the visual executions of brand
Understands and can manage cross platform – email, DM, digital, video, print, etc.
Strong experience leading photography shoots

Working with Creative Specialist:
Assist in utilization and workload management
Ensure best designer is suited for each project based on ability and workload
Manage workloads to maximize productivity of the creative team
Ensure that deadlines and budgets are met
Reviews all creative work routing to ensure that content is accurate and on stategy
Develops and maintains working relationships with brand managers and specialists to maintain positive relationships
Lead as an authoritative presenter in key meetings, creative presentations, market research, and work plan development
Take on appropriate projects and own them, start to finish
Manage and work independently, under tight deadlines, while juggling multiple projects
Proactively researched and develops innovative options for brand
Supports the Creative Director to drive overall creative aesthetic, concept creation, and brand vision bringing innovative ideas to visual life
Manages to deliver production-ready art with fine attention to detail
Cultivate strong relationships with outside agencies/freelancers to support various stages of creative development
Stay consistently relevant and up-to-date on all design and marketing trends, as well as cultural events in effort to bring fresh ideas to design
BA in Graphic Design or related field.
10+ years’ experience in design
Lead workflow ideation, changes and adoption of policies and procedures that reduce friction and increase speed to market
Assist Creative Director in leading high level projects and delivering flawless execution
Ability to direct photshoots
Thought leadership: A strong point of view; ability to contribute to the creative and strategic development of an assignment; creative ideas and the ability to promote conceptual thinking; ability to communicate ideas both visually and verbally
Strong and dynamic presentation skills
An extensive understanding of all creative disciplines, including conceptual and executional (art direction, user experience, copy, and motion
Willingness to push forward brave ideas
A solid understanding of the marketing industry at large; an ability and a desire to adapt to the changing landscape of technology
Software expertise including Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office
Front end web design and development experience
