If you would like to be a part of our team and make real difference in people’s lives. The Child and Family Guidance Center is currently seeking a Part-Time Director, Family Based Recovery.
The Director, Family Based Recovery is a 17.5hr a week position and responsible for the overall operations, management, supervision, and evaluation of Family Based Recovery (FBR) services. As a supervisor, he/she participates in strategic planning and budgeting initiatives in addition to problem solving.
The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following Essential Functions:
Supervise and oversee all aspects of the FBR program following the agency mission demonstrated by meeting funder/contract goals and objectives. Evaluate existing contract compliance, monitoring and reporting to ensure all goals and outcomes are being met.
Manages the FBR budgets in conjunction with Supervisor and senior management.
Ensure the development and maintenance of program manuals for FBR in conjunction with the Director of Quality Assurance and Evaluation and IT Directors/Managers.
Ensure quality improvement of FBR program.
Ensure model fidelity to FBR with staff as evidenced by FBR Yale reports
Manage three direct reports according to FBR model. Collaborates with other program staff as requested in terms of overall employee development
Monitor staff productivity and make recommendations to improve and/or maintain productivity required in contracts and grants.
Have a working knowledge of FBR Services used by clinicians in the FBR program.
Provide consultation to other community agencies, schools, courts, and individuals as deemed appropriate;
Participate in the development and maintenance of effective working relationships with other community agencies, schools and individuals through the program of clinical services and other activities.

The position requires a licensed Master’s level behavioral health professional
At least 3 years of providing clinical and/or substance abuse services to children and families
2 years’ experience in working with parents, and providing in-home services to families
Knowledge of the social and emotional functioning of young children
Have a cultural sensitivity and awareness. As well as the ability to relate and engage with staff and families
Able to work collaboratively with staff and other agencies
A strong familiarity of community resources is preferred
Bi-lingual Spanish speaker is preferred
