Modernizing Medicine ( ) is seeking a Contract Billing Specialist who will be responsible for managing client billing matters and resolving complex billing discrepancies based off our clients contract. This position requires handling a high volume of work and will work collaboratively with internal team members in order to complete tasks accurately and timely.

The Role:
  • Provide professional, timely and courteous responses to incoming client inquiries via calls and cases
  • Review, understand and explain complex contracts and agreements with clients
  • Resolve complex billing arrangements, including multi-payor, fee waivers, volume discounts, and alternative fee arrangements
  • Provide statements, invoices and other relevant documentation to customers upon request
  • Update our billing, accounting and customer relationship software systems with client information such as contacts, payment details, credit card and bank information
  • Address other technical support related questions where capacity and knowledge allow
  • Additional tasks as required to drive efficiencies in Client Services interactions with our customers and internally to create delight and awesome experiences
Skills and Requirements:
  • 2 + years of relevant experience in accounting and client support
  • Strong and demonstrated customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand our client contracts, billing matters and ability to identify and resolve complex billing discrepancies
  • Strong follow-up skills, ability to prioritize, and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining consistent workflow and meeting deadlines
  • Experience with Mac a strong plus
  • Experience with Zuora a strong plus
  • Experience with Salesforce/CRM a strong plus
  • Previous accounts receivable/collections experience a plus
