RSM US Wealth Management LLC is a federally registered Investment Advisor, and a wholly owned subsidiary of RSM US LLP. With Wealth Advisors and teams located in 25 offices across the United States, RSM US Wealth Management provides comprehensive financial planning, asset management and other investment advisory services to individuals, retirement plans, foundations, endowments and businesses.
The Wealth Advisor will be assigned to the Champaign office and work with RSM’s growing Central Illinois-based Wealth Management team. The Wealth Advisor will be the primary contact and assume responsibility for serving a number of existing RSM Wealth Management clients. The Wealth Advisor will also work in conjunction with a Senior Wealth Advisor on a number of other existing RSM Wealth Management clients and assume responsibility for the delivery of comprehensive Wealth Management services to these clients. As part of delivering comprehensive Wealth Management services, the Wealth Advisor needs to become familiar with all the various aspects of the local practice: comprehensive financial planning, investment management, insurance planning, operations, relationship management and business development.
Actively participate in client, prospect and COI meetings in the local market
Assist in developing Financial Plans for clients utilizing our eMoney financial planning tool
Provide investment analysis as needed or directed
Initiate and participate in networking opportunities (both internal and external)
Maintain client records and communication logs in accordance with firm policy, including appropriate use of CRM system, virtual filing system and hard copy filing
Service existing WM clients and their accounts
Facilitate best practices and assists in monitoring and satisfying compliance requirements
Undergraduate degree, preferably in Business (Finance preferred) or Accounting
Must be currently registered as an Investment Adviser Representative (Series 65, CFP®, CFA®, ChFC®, PFS) or have the ability to become registered within the first 4 months (120 days).
Minimum 5 years business experience in the Wealth Management or Financial Services industry
Experience with financial planning, portfolio accounting, and CRM software
Life & Health Insurance License, or the willingness and ability to acquire
Acceptable compliance record in prior position(s)
