Moffatt & Nichol is actively searching for an entry-level Structural Engineer with 0-5 years of experience to support design efforts for waterfront structures and marine infrastructures projects, including marinas, vessel mooring and berthing structures, bulkheads, breakwater and shore protection structures. Our ideal candidate will work from our Honolulu office, but this position can work out of Honolulu, HI; Walnut Creek, CA; or Long Beach, CA.
Due to client parameters, any candidates selected must show proof of U.S. citizenship and be able to successfully pass a Federal background investigation, to include financial and criminal history.
Duties and responsibilities:
Responsibilities and experience will include supporting design on waterfront projects relating to
Structural analysis, design, and detailing for concrete, steel, timber, etc.
Inspection and Rehabilitation of waterfront structures

B.S. and M.S. (preferred) in structural engineering or civil engineering with Structural emphasis
A Masters degree is required in the Honolulu office
TWIC card , or the ability to gain one within 2 months of hire.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
