THE ROLE
-
Works with the Curriculum and Training team to develop programmatic framework, content, and implementation support through training with known best practice for child and adult learners with an emphasis on social emotional learning, student wellbeing, and behavioral support.

Collaborates with the Curriculum and Training team in matters of program improvement.

Creates unique and engaging instructional materials for diverse student populations that are culturally relevant and inclusive.

Develops student lessons and staff training that reflect standards based content, the science of learning and development, and trauma responsive practices.

Integrates high-interest enrichment activities and lessons that develop 21st Century Skills (including Social Emotional Learning), STEM, Arts (visual and performance), and humanities.

Provides virtual training for coaches and other Elevo team members on curriculum and matters of student support.

Attends weekly meetings with the Curriculum and Training team and attends quarterly in-person trainings
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
-
Experience working in elementary education; Middle School and TK/K experience an added benefit.

Experience with classroom instruction in social emotional learning and supporting student wellbeing including mindfulness, restorative practices, and evidence based SEL instruction.

Experience working with a variety of student populations in the development of “soft skills” (i.e. Title I, Special Education, ELL, McKinney Vento, and Foster Youth) and expertise in trauma responsive teaching.

The target annual base pay range for this position is $100,000 - $130,000. Final pay determinations may depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, geographical location, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
