Internship
Performs supervised psychological assessments, group therapy, and trainings. May perform other related tasks that are a part of the agency’s operation. Work is supervised by professional staff, and individual clinical work is supervised by a licensed psychologist. Trainees receive a minimum of one hour of supervision one to one and a minimum of one hour of group supervision.

There are four total hours of group supervision available to the student in the areas of: psychological and neuropsychological assessment, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Team, Dialectical Behavior Therapy Team Consultation, Eating Disorder Team, Grand Rounds.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Education:
Must be an advanced doctoral-level student in clinical psychology program, preferably third or fourth year or commensurate work experience. Training in or exposure to Dialectical Behavior Therapy is helpful.
Knowledge of basic skills in therapy practices and methods
Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate and report activities conducted
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and to prepare written and electronic documents
Ability to communicate orally, both in person and by telephone
Ability to establish rapport with others as a required for healthy and therapeutic relationships.
