The Water Wastewater Engineer will provide support for civil and environmental engineering projects including wastewater collection system infrastructure evaluation, rehabilitation, and design, and water distribution system design.
Locations: Austin, TX
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

B.S. or M.S. degree in Engineering with a minimum of 7 years of experience, 10 preferred.
- Texas-Licensed P.E. certification
- Minimum three years of experience working with Austin Water and City of Austin projects.

This position will require an estimated local travel/field work for site inspections and meetings with client site representative and construction contractors.

Excellent writing/verbal communication skills for interaction with multi-disciplinary staff, clients, and regulatory agencies.

Excellent organization and design planning skills.

Self-starter, detailed oriented, and finisher.

Proficient using typical business software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Adobe, etc.).

AutoCAD/GIS operating knowledge is preferred.

Coordinate with team surveying, geotechnical, structural engineering, and electrical engineering subconsultants

Coordinate with internal QA/QC reviewers, financial analysts, and administrative assistants.
