Three Rivers Health and Rehabilitation Center is a well established LTC facility located in Marked Tree, AR. We are social, supportive, innovative and our goal is to to hire LPN's to join our team for extended rewarding employment.
We are looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team to work in a long term care setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing individualized and holistic care to residents through therapy and treatment, as well as medical screenings, administering medication and communicating with doctors. The Licensed Practical Nurse must have previous experience working with patients and families in a long-term care setting, have a commitment to professional growth, and be capable of working effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Be aware of and inform others about certain behavioral patterns that predict a need for preventive care.
- Understand the effects and risks of medications, including harmful side effects and possible interactions with other medications.
- Perform examinations and assess patients' conditions, such as by measuring body temperature, blood pressure, weight, and pulse.
- Gather and evaluate medical information in a timely manner.
- Know how to contact health professionals and medical facilities in an emergency.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
