Under the direction of the Sr. Project Leader-Aftermarket Parts, KPS, the Senior Sales Analyst-Aftermarket Parts, KPS will develop, manage and execute all areas of sales analysis, strategic pricing and competitive analysis to support department’s goals and objectives. Main responsibilities include: strategic pricing analysis, sales/order reporting, set up part pricing, customer sales profiling, strategic financial analysis, on-time-delivery reporting and ad-hoc analytical projects. Lastly, maintain data base of competitive pricing intelligence to benchmark Aftermarket Parts pricing positioning in the Power Systems segment for industrial, marine and residential markets.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Drive and effectively execute the Pricing roll out and Pricing ACT every year. Analyze prior year pricing with 80/20 rule approach and product category performance.
  • Organize and drive 2 WebEx sessions with Distribution Network to train distributors and direct dealers regarding new prices.
  • Drive and manage net sales and margin performance MTD and YTD.
  • Partner with Channel Manager–Aftermarket Parts, KPS to support with critical financial information, reporting and pricing data.
  • Drive research projects for competitive pricing and monthly promotion recommendations.
  • Research and analyze pricing information from distribution network to recommend gap solutions to achieve monthly and yearly net sales goals.
  • Set up meetings and drive execution of projects with KPS partners and critical stakeholders regarding pricing, competitive data and margin positioning.
  • Operate as a central clearing point for policies and procedures regarding pricing and cost.
  • Participate in and lead training seminars for distributors and direct dealers regarding pricing.
  • Serve as the "go to" person in Aftermarket Parts to find information, answer questions and solve situations regarding strategic pricing and cost.
  • Drive ad-hoc projects and effectively execute them as requested.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in pricing analysis, competitive intelligence and market research in global manufacturing with progressively more responsibility and a track record of results is required.
  • Must be proactive, inquisitive, analytical, a good communicator, results oriented and have good organizational, people, and leadership skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office, advanced Excel knowledge (i.e.: pivot tables and analytics).
  • Experience with SAP preferred.
